The Crew
A professional crew of 2 dedicated to your charter.
Captain Ivan
Spain · Spanish, English
I started sailing when I was eight years old with optimist at a small village by the sea where my family and I used to go for summer holidays. Then I continued to sail with Laser, Hobby Cat, winsdurf and sailing yatchs. In the past 20 years my professional life has been directly connected to the sea. When I was 18 I started to work as a sailing instructor, become sailing school director and then ran my own sailing school. I've raced on dinghy and sailing yatchs. I've done three atlantic crossings performing deliveries and I have worked as skipper in the Caribbean and in the Balearic Islands among other places. All this experience has earned me to develop a deep passion and respect for the sea, knowing its dangers and thus respecting maximum safety while sailing. Music it's my other passion. I sing and play the guitar so bring you instrument and let's enjoy the vibes of sound and waves in a unique environment.
Abigail Soares
Spain · English, Spanish
My name is Abigail Soares, of Spanish nationality, chef of the Saramimi catamaran. In my professional career I have been incorporating experiences into my curriculum, although my beginnings have not been related to the sea, a few years ago I discovered it and I am ent- husiastic about it. My training and work beginnings, I trained in hairdressing and studied personal and corporate consulting. I have always been fond of cooking and I had the opportunity to work in a beach restaurant, where I acquired my knowledge in the kitchen from very good professionals. The cuisine that I practice and the one that I really feel most comfortable with is Mediterra- nean food. This past season I have been embarked on catamarans of different lengths in which I have been hired to attend the kitchen. I like life on board, this year I made my first crossing of the Atlantic between Euro and BVI. I have worked with the captain on many occasions, we have known each other for years, we are a team that will make your life on board easy. “In life there are three things that make you dream with your eyes open: love, music and the sea. If you put them together, it's paradise"

What a yacht like SARAMIMI costs to own — not just to charter
A charter week on SARAMIMI is a fixed, all-in number. Ownership of a 14m yacht in this class is a five-year commitment — crew payroll, insurance, class and refit reserves, berthing and depreciation. Our yacht ownership vs charter vs fractional ownership study runs the real five-year cost of a €15 million yacht against the equivalent charter spend, and the most profitable yachts for owners ranking shows how much of that stack charter revenue actually recovers.
