In November 2024, Marlies won the Acrew Best Captain award in the Master <500gt category. When she’s not working, Marlies enjoys all things water-related, from sailing and kiteboarding to diving, and enjoys cooking & good wine, traveling, reading, and painting & photography.

She has a huge passion for cooking, speaks five languages, and possesses a good understanding of wine.
