Natural light streams through large windows, illuminating plush seating arrangements where guests can unwind with a book from the ship's library or gather for an evening of entertainment with the integrated audio system. It’s a space designed for connection, yet equally suited for quiet contemplation.

Aft Deck Al Fresco
The aft deck provides a quintessential setting for open-air living. Beneath the vast expanse of sky, a spacious dining area invites long, leisurely meals, perhaps a freshly grilled catch prepared on the BBQ. This is where the ocean breeze invigorates and the panoramic views become the backdrop to every moment. Whether enjoying morning coffee as the sun rises or toasting to the day's adventures, this outdoor haven is a constant invitation to immerse oneself in the marine environment.

Top Deck Jacuzzi

Enveloped by the crisp sea air, guests can unwind completely, perhaps with a chilled drink in hand as the coastline drifts by. It’s a perfect spot for stargazing after dark, transforming into a magical, illuminated sanctuary against the velvet blackness of the night sky.

Colin Griffinson
Ireland · English
Birthplace: Dublin, Ireland As the Captain and co-owner of the Pacific Yellowfin with his wife, Colin delivers unique luxurious private yacht cruises along the BC coast. As a long-time sufferer of “wooden boat disease”, his love of the water started in childhood in Dublin’s busy DunLaoighre Harbour. From his early experience on fishing trawlers in the North and Irish seas to his first boat, a 72-foot seiner, his passion for boats has spanned more than five decades. Colin has cruised the BC coast for more than twenty years and his love of the sea and interest in people make him incredibly knowledgeable of all fishing hot spots, beautiful hikes and secret waterfalls. Numerous guests have commented on Colin’s sense of humor and storytelling abilities, with “kids” of all ages enjoying his tales. His mastery over Pacific Yellowfin makes our guests feel utterly safe. When he’s not working in his Vancouver-based painting and decorating company, Colin can often be found tinkering aboard the Pacific Yellowfin, having a Guinness or our own Pacific Yellowfin Ale.

What a yacht like PACIFIC YELLOWFIN costs to own — not just to charter
A charter week on PACIFIC YELLOWFIN is a fixed, all-in number. Ownership of a 35m yacht in this class is a five-year commitment — crew payroll, insurance, class and refit reserves, berthing and depreciation. Our yacht ownership vs charter vs fractional ownership study runs the real five-year cost of a €15 million yacht against the equivalent charter spend, and the most profitable yachts for owners ranking shows how much of that stack charter revenue actually recovers.
