Originally from France, Safwene is a highly skilled captain with over 10 years of experience in the yachting industry. During his career Safwene managed to find time to become a French champion in kickboxing in 2019 with a 2nd Degree Black Belt. Safwene's journey in the yachting industry began as an engineer on various motor yachts. He then advanced to the position of 1st officer/engineer onboard CENTURION, before being promoted to captain in 2020. His extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience enable him to effectively manage the demands of yacht management, owners, and crew members, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations. Familiar with most systems on board a motor yacht, Safwene aims to continually enhance his skills and strive to be the safest and most competent master. He is fluent in both English and French, and in his spare time, he enjoys a variety of sports including motorcycling, boxing, football, mountain biking, and playing chess.
Joshua Urdang
