He has been gaining seafaring experience since his student days, sailing on the family ship mb Božidar. Since 1996, he has been sailing as a captain on the mb Konkordia for nautical tourism. Božidar loves the sea and boats and has devoted most of his vocation to ships and the sea. Božidar left the helm of the gulet Altair to his son Duja. As the young captain’s right hand, he will introduce you to the most beautiful destinations of the Dalmatian coast and show you all the natural beauty of our islands, rich history, and culture. He spends his free time walking and reading. However, his biggest hobby is the boat because there is always something to do on the ship.

She is currently studying drama therapy at the Academy of Performing Arts. Her keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, and cheerful spirit make her a highly-valued team member cherished by clients and colleagues. The list of jobs the 28-year-old Katarina combines once the season is over is truly impressive: she works as a freelance actress, an assistant for children with special needs, and a drama teacher while pursuing her second master’s degree. No wonder Captain Antišić and the rest of the crew keep an eye on her and give her well-deserved recognition. In addition, she prides herself on knowing two foreign languages: English and Spanish – which comes in handy when welcoming guests on board Altair. She does yoga, plays tennis, and enjoys outdoor activities with her friends and family in her spare time.

Ownership economics

What a yacht like ALTAIR costs to own — not just to charter

A charter week on ALTAIR is a fixed, all-in number. Ownership of a 25m yacht in this class is a five-year commitment — crew payroll, insurance, class and refit reserves, berthing and depreciation. Our yacht ownership vs charter vs fractional ownership study runs the real five-year cost of a €15 million yacht against the equivalent charter spend, and the most profitable yachts for owners ranking shows how much of that stack charter revenue actually recovers.
